I'm still here, alive, somehow! Its been a crazy week. I learned (the hard way) about a SPED student. I finally met with the SPED teacher to address the students I have in class and feel a little bit more confident about my students. However, this confidence doesn't extend far... I feel like I need to step it up quite a bit. I've been getting to my classroom early enough in the morning, but I need to put more time in at night. I get done with volleyball and just want to go home! It's hard for me to mentally push myself when my brain activity is at an all time low. To add to the inactivity, I was introduced to a new book. I absolutely LOVE The Hunger Games. Thanks to Tina I have been able to see what all the hype is about. I have only been spending 30-45 minutes a night, but its taken away from my prep time. I have only 1 more day till the weekend! Pray that I'll make it!!

I'm still beating... thankfully

I know what you are feeling girl! After the Hunger Games, you'll be hooked (im sure you already are!) I am reading Catching Fire right now and WOW! It is so good. It definitely is distracting though! Hope you had a great week! Mrs. Merket!
Totally got hooked on the Hunger Games. Finished the first one tonight (I've only had it for a day and a half...) I'm SURE you're wonderful, though. And, look on the bright side: we get to see you in a week! :)
Roxy I don't know if we'll be closing on the 3rd... I CAN'T get a straight answer from them. We'd love it if you guys came down still, but we might not be moving.
Melissa how is school going? I hope you are surviving with volleyball!
Glad you made it through your first week. Blake is stressing out about student teaching starting next week. I keep telling him that you and Angie made it through student teaching, but he's still super stressed about finishing school and getting a job. Are you guys still planning on coming up at some point? We would love to get everyone together.
We just found out we won't he able to close on our house when we were told... so we might not come up on the 12th... we might come up the weekend after.
